FENDER USA Exotic Collection Shedua Stratocaster LTD " Shedua + Maple" (2017)

A departure from Fender's usual tone wood choices, the 2017 Limited Edition Shedua Top Stratocaster tempers the traditional Strat sound with the rich sound and warm look of an okoume body with a shedua top. The okoume body has a snappy, highly dynamic attack while the shedua top adds a delightful accent to the instrument's voice.

She's loaded with three of V-Mod single-coil pickups. Voiced specifically for each position, V-Mod pickups mix alnico magnet types to produce powerful, nuanced tones with original Fender sonic DNA. I must agree these sound great and do well to retain high end clarity when adjusting the volume controls, thanks to the new treble-bleed tone circuit that lets your tone shine through in all its glory. Other features include a modern Deep C"-shaped neck profile and narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately and play perfectly intonated chords.

Condition Report: Really cool looking Strat here finished in this desirable shedua top. Condition of this guitar is great, electronics work great and the sound in punchy, the neck is straight and the guitar shows no sign of damage. Comes with all the relevant paperwork and lives in its original case.
